The exhibition focuses on the everyday aspects of our lives, particularly in the Caribbean. The ordinary. The seemingly mundane interactions and sightings, and the beauty that exists therein.
Shari Petti’s six photographs were made on 35mm colour film between 2023 and 2024, most of them on a half-frame camera, so two moments sit side by side on a single frame, and one on a four-lens camera that splits the frame into four. Kites and raised arms over the water in Grenada. An afternoon on the beach in Trinidad. A mare and her filly, a horse cart on Mane Road and the morning catch in Georgetown, Guyana.
